Invite people to attend, join the organizing team, or sponsor your participation! Help to spread the word about Power Shift Canada online.

Do you have your own blog or website? Why not feature Power Shift Canada in your next post? Help spread the excitement coast to coast to coast (and don’t forget to include a link to www.powershiftcanada.org for more info!).

Facebook

1. Join the Facebook group, Power Shift Canada 2009. Join a discussion thread for your region (or start a new one!), write on our wall why you are stoked to be a part of Power Shift Canada, and invite all your friends to join!

2. Become a fan of Power Shift Canada at www.facebook.com/PowerShiftCanada. You’ll get up-to-the-minute updates straight to your newsfeed! Help build the movement by posting the page to your profile or inviting your friends to become fans (“suggest to friends”).

3. Status Updates. Did you just participate in a conference call? Have a local meeting with Power Shift organizers? Submit a travel funding request? Register? Let the world know that you are excited about Power Shift Canada and that you are doing your part to make it an amazing success!

BONUS: Include www.powershiftcanada.org or the URL of the fan page or facebook group in your status so your friends can find out more!

4. What do you “like” about Power Shift Canada? When you see an update from Power Shift Canada in your newsfeed, take ½ a second to click “like”, or comment on it. It may seem simple, but it can go a long way towards building momentum and solidarity.

5. Your Profile Photo. At key times, change your profile pic to the Power Shift Canada logo! Or get creative! Take a photo of yourself or your friends showing your PSC love!

Tip: You can create a Friend List (go to the “Friends” tab) of all the people you want to tell about Power Shift Canada. This will make it MUCH faster to invite them all to both the group and the fan page!

2. RT (retweet) PowerShiftCAN’s updates.

3. Tweet about #PowerShiftCAN.
